
Songwriter
Jamie is a songwriter and composer from St Petersburg, FL with a diverse breadth of influences spanning every genre. Coupled with early exposure to her family’s business in musical entertainment, her passion for song trend analysis and popular music pedagogies have given her an innate songwriting ability for overcoming obstacles during the songwriting process. Jamie is a piano accompanist and vocalist for various soloists and ensembles, in addition to her own solo act. She has composed music for children, jingles and plays, as well as written hundreds of songs. Jamie is also Professor of Songwriting at the MIRA program of St. Petersburg College, holding an MA in Music from Western Carolina University. She is an instructor and the Talent Coordinator for Ruth Eckerd Hall as well as a lead for the Music Revolution Project®, an official affiliate of the GRAMMY Museum®, which focuses on developing the next generation of GRAMMY winners.
